What year did you start CrossFitting?

Why did you get into CrossFit?

I got into to crossfit because the first time I showed up I was pushed past a limit I thought I could go, with an empowering group of people. I love the community and the intensity, most of all I love the psychology aspect of what it takes to get through intense workouts and applying the same concept in my life!

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer for goal setting because I would see people come and go in the gym even when some wanted to do better but would eventually drop off and it made me curious why. I believe that if these people would have a found a big enough reason WHY going to the gym was important, they would make it a part of their life style. As we know motivation comes and goes but having a why on the other side helps pull you through the struggles and failures of your fitness journey because they are going to exist, but having that why turns these into learning experiences and growth opportunities. Everyone’s why is different and I’m passionate about helping others find theirs’!!

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

If there is such thing as a favorite? Handstand Walks

What is your favorite cheat food?

If you consider it cheating Bacon Cheeseburger with Green Chile

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

“I think a hero is an ordinary individual that finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” – Superman. Superman it is, it’s about leaning into your struggles and becoming the best version of yourself which I call Superman.

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I got into CrossFit because I had heard so much about it from a friend who owns a nearby gym, I was terrified to try it out but she came with me for my first session, I remember spending that weekend not being able to walk, from then I never turned back!

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer because I love CrossFit, it’s the one type of exercise program that I have ever stuck with, I wanted to share my love and enthusiasm for it by helping others learn to love and see results from the idea of functional fitness.

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

My favorite CrossFit movement is overhead squats.

What is your favorite cheat food?

My favorite cheat food is nachos, yum!

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

She-Ra: Princess of Power (from He-Man) I remember being little and having a She-Ra action figure that I played with and took everywhere I went. I love her super strength and empathy that she possesses. She’s pretty awesome, why wouldn’t she be any 80’s girls favorite superhero?!

Why did you get into CrossFit?

I work better in a team setting. CrossFit allows me to set personal goals and then gives me the support group to help meet them. I also love working with so many modalities to become a jack of all trades

Why did you become a trainer?

My life has been drastically impacted in a positive way because my first CrossFit instructor introduced me to this lifestyle. I enjoy giving others that same opportunity.

Spaghetti, Pizza Hut Dinner Box All of it
